Good Shepherd School Piggery Project

New additions to the Good Shepherd School Piggery Project.

Our piggery project will help put food on the table for hungry, undernourished children who attend Good Shepherd School. The pigs will provide protein for the children and will be sold to pay for teachers' salaries, improved classroom conditions and for school supplies.

Pigs are an excellent solution to improving the children's diet and to improving the school.

Click "donate now" to make a gift today!

Donation Tip: $20 will purchase one pig.

Did you know?

  • Every day, more than 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes - one child every five seconds.
  • Most of these deaths are attributed, not to outright starvation, but to diseases that move in on vulnerable children whose bodies have been weakened by hunger.
  • Poor nutrition and calorie deficiencies cause nearly one in three people to die prematurely or have disabilities.
