Ruth Namutebi

Ruth Namutebi lost both parents to HIV/AIDS when she was very young - her father in 1999 and her mother in 2001. Her grandmother is a nurse and has the responsibility for many orphans in her home. What little money she is able to raise is not near enough to keep food on the table for so many and also pay school fees. Your sponsorship will ensure that there will not be a break in Ruth's education.
She has been attending St. Abel Primary School and is in Primary Class 4. Her teacher reports that she is attentive in class and seems to be doing her best. Netball is a game that she plays with her friends.
Some of responsibility for the younger children in the home falls on Ruth's young shoulders as well as a good bit of the cooking. Life is not easy for this young girl and obtaining an education will give her hope for the future.
